Gertie quilts for England!
Or tries to, in between looking after small children and avoiding housework. I enjoy all needlework but especially patchwork, hand appliqué, making dresses for my girls, and crochet. That looks like it was quite a painful and graphic ordeal. All needlework obviously includes the battle between needle and finger. In this struggle, I would not place a bet on finger. Hopefully it was not too bad and you are alright. I suppose that is the price you have to pay for passion.
Blow the needle, are you ok? It looks nasty from here. Di x
ReplyDeleteGoodness, if that's how the needle looks I dread to think what happened to your poor finger! Lots of restorative chocolate needed, perhaps?
